Brewing Ocean Beer in France
Ocean Beer x Brasserie des Sources x IBB = Brewing for the ocean !
When we met Jean-Luc Butez, President of IBB Group, we instantly recognised how much we had in common: a lifelong love and respect for the ocean, paired with a deep sadness at how much it had declined over the past 30 years. We shared the same sense of urgency to contribute — in any way we can — to restoring the ocean back to health — and, as it happens, a passion for the challenge of brewing the best possible beer, as sustainably as possible.
After months of preparation, we're proud to launch a very exciting new collaboration: Brasserie des Sources will be brewing Ocean Beer for the French market alongside their award-winning beers, while International Beers & Beverages (IBB) will handle distribution.

Good Beer, Greater Purpose
All the profits from our beers go directly to projects dedicated to restoring ocean health.
Since early 2025, we decided to attribute a significant portion of the profits generated in France to Blue Alliance — a French organisation working to regenerate coral reef ecosystems by establishing and managing marine protected areas around the world.
Together, we’ve made a promise: for every beer sold, we will protect 500 m² of ocean for one year!
