Ocean Beer ®

Brewed to Protect the Ocean

Change Starts With a Cheers.

Our ocean sustains all life on Earth but is in great danger, and the funding needed to restore its health is critically lacking.

To help tackle this planetary challenge, we had a bold — some might say crazy — idea: create a great-tasting, award-winning beer that raises funds for the ocean.

Thanks to your support since 2021, Ocean Beer has already funded over €500,000 of high-impact, chronically underfunded marine restoration projects around the world.

Born for Impact. Brewed for Taste.

THE IMPACT
100% of Ocean Beer’s profits are donated to vetted projects that restore ocean health in their own unique ways. Assessed by an independent Scientific Advisory Board for their scientific rigor and proven effectiveness, the selected initiatives operate both in locations around the world where ocean action is most urgent, and locally in each country where Ocean Beer is brewed and enjoyed.

THE BREWING
Because how we brew the beer is just as important as the impact we aim to make, we partner with best-in-class brewers in every country where Ocean Beer is sold — people who craft exceptional beer, follow high sustainability standards, and who are just as passionate and concerned as we are about ocean health.

How Every Beer Protects the Ocean

100% of Ocean Beer’s profits are donated to projects restoring ocean health. To maximise impact, these funds are distributed in two complementary ways:

support the creation of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) worldwide  one of the most effective tools to restore ocean life.

= One Gesture for the Ocean

One Square = One Beer

We’re excited to unveil our brand-new Ocean Beer packaging, launching in 2026 — designed to make collective impact visible and to show that there is HOPE.

On this new label, every square represents one Ocean Beer, one gesture for the ocean. On its own, a single action can feel small, but together, these actions add up to real, meaningful change.

In fact, if every beer sold annually on the planet were an Ocean Beer, we could single-handedly fund the protection of 30% of the ocean — the United Nations’ goal for 2030. It’s ambitious, of course, but it shows the power of collective action when millions of people make a small move in the same direction!

This is the spirit behind Ocean Beer: more than a drink, we are a community. We make it easy for everyone to take action in their everyday life, contribute a small drop, and join a larger wave of positive change for our ocean.

The Official Beer of the Ocean

Ocean Beer was born from the ocean community — and that community is ever-expanding: whether it is surfers, leaders at the UN Ocean Conference, major boat shows, global sailing events or beach bars along the coast, Ocean Beer brings together people who care about the sea.

We’re proud to have served Ocean Beer to some of the world’s most influential ocean gatherings, alongside leading ocean advocates, scientists, explorers and storytellers.

Wherever the ocean and its blue community gather, there’s a good chance you’ll find Ocean Beer.

You might wonder why we chose ‘BEER’ to fund ocean restoration?

Because beer brings people together, across cultures, backgrounds, and generations, it’s a powerful social connector — one that sparks shared moments, conversations, and ideas, every day and everywhere.

Sharing a beer with a friend is a chance to slow down and reflect on what matters. With an Ocean Beer in hand, it can also be an invitation to think about our blue planet: its beauty, its fragility, and the shared responsibility we all have to protect it.

Doing good never tasted better.
