Meet Ocean Angel, our 2026 Canary Islands beneficiary. This local NGO dives to hand-remove marine litter and ghost gear from Tenerife's seabed — cleaning up a marine environment exposed to both local pressures and debris drifting in from across the Atlantic.

To push for a ban on bottom trawling, we supported Oceana's efforts around this in Spain and funded the production of a fact sheet with data analysis on fisheries inside MPAs, accompanied by case studies.

Since 2024, Ocean Beer has supported dozens of Canary Green's beach clean-ups across the Canary Islands: bringing people together to protect the coast they love and take real action for the ocean.
