Making the World’s First Blue Carbon Documentary

Blue Carbon, the film, is a groundswell documentary that dives into the promise and the potential of the ocean in the face of global warming. The USD 2.2 million-budget documentary is directed by the Emmy/Bafta-winning Nicolas Brown (Serengeti Rules) and Executive Produced by Oscar-nominated Director Fernando Meirelles. The film will be supported by a million dollar plus Outreach Campaign that will target both grassroots activism around blue carbon ecosystems, and high-level policy-makers, to create a global movement that harnesses nature’s gift and protects it for man and womankind now and into the futures. This is a film of hope.
